MOUNTAIN OF MEASUREMENT known as MANIGALA is a one of the mountain in knuckles mountain range. It is located near to pitawala village. Most travellers are climbing it up to see  the beauty of knuckles range & to see Thelgamu oya - river.

JOURNEY START - 

 We started journey from Peradeniya & headad to Matale. we got down from riverstone and start our hiking.
Our local guide is a very experienced  & he guided us to the manigala rock

Most of the people like to hike Manigala  mountain because to observe its natural beauty & wildlife




we reached the top of the mountain..
 we can see knuckles mountain range & crop fields down below the valley.

There are small water streams everywhere in the Manigala rock.

after the hike we came down &  lunch was waiting for us at a pitawala village home 










after lunch we reached to Thelgamu oya river..




Wow. What an amazing ending to an amazing journey
